WowAir 50% off sale for round-trips

WowAir is having a 50% off sale with the code WOWXMAS. The best prices tend to go FAST,
although technically you need to book round-trip flights before 23:59 (GMT) or 6:59 (EST) December 23rd. Now, because the 50% off doesn't include taxes and fees, it usually ends up being more like 25% off, but that's still pretty good when you consider that some flights are available for $99 each way. Personally, I think this is a good deal if you want to go to Iceland, where WowAir is based.

If you're planning to go to the rest of Europe, though, I'm not sure WowAir would be my first choice. Their extremely low baggage allowance is a real hassle - no carry-on last time I flew, although the rules fluctuate. The main plus of WowAir, and its slightly less bare-bones ultra-discount carrier pal Norwegian, is that you can fly one-way to one European city and one-way back from a different city, giving you the freedom to explore Europe and use some of those awesome $10 international flights within the continent. Most "real" airlines cost nearly the same one-way as round-trip, so you don't have that freedom. By making you book round-trip, WowAir is taking away its biggest draw; "real" airlines like Icelandair sometimes have sales that rival WowAir's prices, and they give you luggage, food, and the feeling that you are not garbage. That said, check out the sale and see if you can snag a round-trip for like $150; that's hard to beat.
